Ingredients: 

  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of lemon juice 
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of honey 
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of hot water 
  • 1 black tea bag 
  • a slice of lemon for decoration (optional) 

Boil the water and pour it into a cup. Soak the black tea bag in the hot water for 3–4 minutes. 

When the tea has steeped, remove the bag from the cup. If you don’t like the taste of black tea or don’t want it to contain caffeine, you can skip this step. Many people enjoy hot honey and lemon tea that contains no other tea. On the other hand, the benefits of black tea with lemon are worthwhile.

Boil water and pour it into a heatproof jug. Stir the sugar and soda into the hot water. Stir the mixture with a long-handled spoon until the sugar dissolves. Soak the black tea bags in the jug for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, carefully remove the bags from the jug with a spoon. Use a second spoon to squeeze the liquid out of the bags. 

Pour the juice into the jug and stir the tea. You can pour less juice if the drink is too sour. Finally, add ice and enjoy!
